Writing a novel, as I’ve discovered, is not just about when you do your writing, but where too.

I’ve been very lucky in having the Milestone Studios & Gallery, in New Mills, Peak District, to provide an artistic base from which to do some of the writing at.

Open to the public on Saturdays, the rest of the week sees the studios become a shining example of collaboration between artists as resident artists work alongside workshops run by other artistic entrepreneurs, making use of the large downstairs area, which is both art gallery, and activity area.
