New Year’s Day – what better way to spend a dark, blustery afternoon in the Peak District than re-acquainting myself with the previous 67,000 words I’d already written for the 3rd Dr Adam Price novel in 2025, than by adding to them!

Just tipped over the 70,000 word mark so in the interests of pacing myself, I’m going to call it a day there.

Here’s some of my ‘Author highlights’ from 2025…

February 2025 saw me complete and publish the 2nd Dr Adam Price adventure – Price: Polestarr, in e-book and Paperback form simultaneously on Amazon, to 5-star reviews.

March 2025 – I started writing the 3rd action & adventure novel with a working title of Price: Dark Crater.

June 2025 – Attended my first book fair as an author at Authors Assemble in the Buxton Crescent.

June 2025 – Scrivener’s Book Shop, High St, Buxton, agrees to sell copies of both Price: World and Price: Polestarr in their local authors section and youth fiction section.

October 2025 – my first ‘meet the Author’ event is held at Scrivener’s Book Shop in Buxton, with sales on the day of both paperbacks!

November 2025 – hurried some more copies of both novels to Scrivener’s as they’d sold out of previous supplies.

November 2025 – stop writing due to the day job pressures of overtime and weekend working in the run up to Christmas.
